What is Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)?
ENS is a process that introduces mild stresses to very young puppies in a controlled way. These stresses help to stimulate the neurological system which improves the growth and development of the puppies immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance. What is Early Scent Introduction (ESI)?
ESI is done in conjunction with ENS from days 3-16. During this time we introduce new (usually pungent) scents to the puppies for short intervals. We record whether the puppy has a positive, negative, or neutral reaction. Scent abilities are high characteristics required of therapy and service dogs to have. Why Us?
Our goal is to provide our families with happy, well adjusted, and less fearful puppies that grow into confident adult dogs. Our puppies complete Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) from 3-16 days old. We also use Puppy Culture (PC) protocol. We continue with PC until they go to their new homes.
